Welcome to Beacon Park
Beacon Park is being developed by MPM Properties (SGBP) Ltd as the premier business location in eastern Norfolk. It is situated on the southern side of Great Yarmouth and comprises 25 acres of mixed office, industrial and leisure development. Beacon Park offers high quality buildings to meet the requirements of modern occupiers.
To date, the East Anglian Ambulance Trust has taken occupation of an 18,000 sq ft ambulance depot and offices; offices have been built for PKF (regional headquarters), Minerva House (in multiple occupation) and the Beacon Innovation Centre; work is planned for some 60,000 sq ft of speculative office and industrial units; and a new 52-bedroom Travelodge has started on site with a Toby restaurant and pub due to start in 2008.
In addition, outline planning consent has recently been granted for the second phase of the Beacon Park development. This consent includes further residential development of 15 acres, an extension to the commercial area of 28 acres, and neighbourhood centre on 4.73 acres.
The first phase within the residential allocation of 5.25 acres will be started late 2008 and will include the construction of the next phase of infrastructure to serve the neighbourhood centre and other development land. It is anticipated the neighbourhood centre will be completed in 2009.
